What cookies CulinEire uses and how to control them.
Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies CulinEire sets, why we set them, and how you can manage them. CulinEire is operated by Bearcave Limited (Company No. 658124), registered in Ireland.
About Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. Cookies help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and protect forms from abuse. They do not contain executable code and cannot access other files on your device.
Cookies We Set
CulinEire sets only essential, functional cookies. We do not set advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies, and we do not share cookie data with third parties for marketing purposes.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Maintains your login session so you stay signed in as you navigate the site. | Session (cleared on browser close) | Strictly necessary |
| csrftoken | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
| ce_pwa_* | Remembers whether you have dismissed the app install prompt so it is not shown repeatedly. | 7 days | Strictly necessary (localStorage) |
Note: ce_pwa_* values are stored in your browser's localStorage, not as HTTP cookies.
They serve the same functional purpose and are subject to the same controls.
Third-Party Cookies
Certain third-party services used by CulinEire may set their own cookies:
- Cloudflare Turnstile (privacy-preserving CAPTCHA used on forms) may set cookies to verify you are human. Turnstile is designed to minimise data collection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts is loaded from Google's servers. Google may collect limited technical information such as IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
CulinEire does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking or advertising technology.
